The Difference is Simply Astounding! No one cleans better than Vanguard Absolutely the best cleaning or |
Most Carpet Mills, including Shaw Industries which is the largest carpet mill manufacturer in the world, recommend truck-mounted Steam Cleaning Extraction method for carpets.
Did you know delaying having your carpet professionally cleaned 24 months after purchase can void your warranty? Did you also know that the carpet cleaning company must be IICRC certified to maintain your warranty?
Vanguard Carpet Cleaning is on various preferred cleaning vendor lists and is a certified firm through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration. One of our technicians is one of 12 in the region that have achieved the coveted distinction of being an IICRC Certified Master Cleaner.
The
IICRC is a non-profit organization it is similar to the Bar and Medical
associations that certify their members through testing which assures
that their competency level is second to none. Most carpet manufactures
strongly recommend you hire an IICRC certified company or certified master
cleaner to clean your textiles. In partnership with the mills, the IICRC
assist in protecting you from the uneducated, unprincipled carpet cleaners
who often use unethical practices like bait and switch price tricks.
Some dishonest carpet cleaners are down right immoral by not informing you that their cleaning products are carcinogenic and a possible health risk. They wouldn't use these products in their own residences. Not all carpet cleaners are alike. Before hiring anyone please read six misconceptions about carpet cleaning. This eye opening article addresses many myths about having your carpet cleaned.
Here is a sample of what we do:
1. Pre-vacuuming
"We vacuum your carpets when we clean them!" This is what you'll hear often from the uncertified carpet cleaners. IICRC cleaning protocols insist that all certified technicians pre-vacuum before cleaning carpets. This removes 40 to 60 percent of the loose debris lodged deep in the face fibers of your carpet. We use a commercial high-filtration vacuum cleaner to thoroughly vacuum your carpeting. Most consumer vacuums lack beater-bar strength to agitate through carpets fibers. They don't have adequate airflow to lift the loose soil into their bag system. Vanguard Carpet Cleaning carefully uses various bi-directional strokes to loosen debris. The last thing we want is to turn the contaminated debris field into mud when we clean. We are mindful to change our high-filtration bags often to ensure proper airflow and filtration, avoiding any cross-contamination from previous homes we've cleaned.
2. Furniture Moving
"Will you move furniture?" Sure we do! We will move all the furniture except a large bedroom set, hutches, bookshelves, entertainment centers, plasma TV's, and fragile furniture because of insurance requirements. If you desire, we will assist you, but we will not be held liable for any mishaps. We place plastic squares under furniture to avoid any rust and wood stains from transferring onto wet carpeting.
3. Pre-conditioning
"Do you need to pay extra for preconditioning?" No! Most trustworthy companies will include this aspect in their pricing. IICRC protocols recommend that all certified technician use a pre-spray under 10 on the PH scale for most stain-resistant carpet so that it doesn't violate your manufacturers warranty. Why does this matter? Too many unqualified carpet cleaners in a rush to get to their next appointment will use pre-conditioners designed for restaurants and commercial cleaning. Those pre-conditioner agents have a higher PH, which will void the carpet warranty and leave a sticky villainous soil that attracts residue on the carpet. Vanguard Carpet Cleaning has a different viewpoint about applying pre-conditioners We use a non-toxic pre-conditioner on the spots and spills only! Why?
Two reasons:
- Pre-conditioners are often pushed deep into carpeting by the extraction
process. As the carpets go through the evaporation process the residue
pre-conditioner resurfaces at the top of your carpeting making it feel
crusty after drying.
- 1. During the drying process a cleaner's generous application of pre-conditioner will become airborne leaving an unhealthy atmosphere inside a residence. That is unacceptable to us.
Here's our solution:
We avoid spraying any topical pre-conditioners on areas that don't need it. Since we use a water refinement system it solves the problem. If the pre-conditioners PH is too aggressive, it will strip the carpets stain-resistant properties — and that's not good! Our cleaning procedure will reduce the soiling that has filtered below the surface of your carpet and assure the best results in removing those stubborn spots.
4. Vapor Extraction
High-quality carpet made today requires a superior cleaning chemistry that cleans and freshens, yet keeps a soft texture. It must be able to restore and brighten the carpet leaving no sticky residue. Vanguard Carpet Cleaning uses a specially formulated cleaning process that does just that! It reduces allergens and unwanted contamination. Leaving carpeting thoroughly cleaned and freshened yet it while retaining its soft texture after drying. Vanguard Carpet Cleaning uses the latest industrial advances in cleaning equipment. Our vapor extraction system limits moisture and promotes rapid drying once the unwanted contamination is flushed out!
5. Hi-Tech Rinsing
Vanguard Carpet Cleaning uses a one-of-a-kind custom-built on-board Kinetico water refinement filtering system. This removes all the calcium, magnesium and chlorine from the cleaning water. The cleaning benefit of our conditioned water is that it improves the rinsing process. This allows for deeper penetration and flushes past soaps left behind by previous cleanings and trampled soiling. By using the correct temperature and proper PH balancing the cleaning effectiveness is always safe protecting the stain-blocking properties of your carpet. The contaminated water is isolated in the waste tank of our mobile unit and emptied in a proper disposal area.
